BNTU President Calls for Urgent Police Reform [Video]

The Belize National Teachers’ Union has issued a statement in the wake of the shooting in which fourteen-year-old Laddie Gillett was killed. In its statement, the union said quote “…there are more questions than answers surrounding what occurred in this incident but we must, in no uncertain terms, call on our Police Department to ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted so that justice is served in full measure” End quote.
