WORLD PEACE VLOG #9BLACK LIVES MATTERIn Sudbury on July 9th I attended the Black Lives Matter Protest!https://blacklivesmatter.comWorldpeacejesus.comInstagram.com/worldpeacejesusYouTube.com/worldpeacejesus
This couple got married on the steps of the US Supreme Court in Washington D.C. Their original wedding day had been postponed due to covid, but it seemed like the perfect time to share their love in the midsts of the Black Lives Matter protests and the pandemic. As an interracial couple, the date of their wedding had incredible significance. June 12th is known as Loving Day, a day of visibility, education, and community; the day that Interracial marriage became legal in the United States. Mildred and Richard l=Loving were arrested in 1958 for being married as an interracial couple. The case reached the U.S. Supreme Court and on June 12th, 1967, the Supreme Court struck down all state laws against interracial marriage in the United States. This is why June 12th is known as Loving Day.You can read more about Loving Day Here: https://lovingday.org/VENDOR TEAM:○ Videographer: VizInk Weddings○ Venue: United States Supreme Court○ Dress Designer: Stella York○ Photographer: Andre Lamar Photography○ Officiant: Thomas L.
